Cancellation/No Show Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations and no shows will be charged a $150 fee, which insurance does not cover.
Can I do Telehealth Sessions?
Yes, We use a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform to offer virtual sessions. You must be physically located within Texas and Connecticut during your session.
What are Appointments Like?
Intake and follow-up sessions are 53–55 minutes in length. If additional time is needed, you are welcome to schedule a second session within the same week.
Sessions are typically held on a weekly basis; however, frequency may vary depending on individual needs and goals, including biweekly or monthly (maintenance) sessions.
Therapy may be short-term, focusing on a specific concern, or longer-term to address more complex issues and support ongoing personal growth.
Crisis Resources
If you are experiencing concerns about your personal safety, are having suicidal thoughts or intentions, or feel a desire to harm yourself or others, please go to the nearest emergency room.
If you do not feel safe driving yourself or you cannot find transportation to the ER, please call 911. Javiola Castillo, LPC-S does not offer after-hours emergency services or crisis intervention.
